This is a game-changer. I'm 6'2" and 220lbs and it held me easily. The inflatable tubes and slats work great together. Set up takes about 15 minutes but once it's up, you sleep like at home. I've used it as a double bed with my wife and also split it into two single cots for the kids. It's so versatile.
I was skeptical about the air/frame combo but it's actually stable and comfortable. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the pump isn't included, which was a bit annoying. But once I used my own pump it was fine. Overall, good value.
We love this cot system. It's a bit heavy but that's expected for something this sturdy. The modular design is genius – we used one as a lounge chair during the day and then converted it to a bed at night. It's also very easy to adjust the firmness with the air tubes.
It's comfy once you figure it out, but the first time setting it up was frustrating. The instructions could be clearer. Also, the fiberglass slats feel a bit fragile, but so far they haven't broken. Just be careful when assembling.
I bought this for a two-week road trip and it was a lifesaver. I could adjust the firmness each night. The blackout effect from the raised bed made a huge difference. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend.
Love it.
It's very comfortable and well-built, but it's definitely not for backpacking. We use it for car camping and it's fine. The carry bag helps but it's still a workout to haul to the site. Still, sleeping well is worth it.
This is honestly like a real bed. I have back problems and this was the first time I slept well on a camping trip. The modular feature allowed me to keep my side firmer than my partner's. Great investment.
One of the slats broke on the second use. It's not that easy to get replacements. I expected better for the price. Maybe I got a lemon, but I'm disappointed.
The concept is impressive and it works well. The air tubes make it comfortable and the frame feels stable. It took a bit of practice to set up quickly but now I can do it in about 10 minutes. It's a solid choice for car campers.
